Wishing you a happy Earth Day, the 50th Earth Day.
Right now everyone can use a little peaceful zen garden therapy in their life, especially now with the uncertainty brought on by the COVID-19 shuttering all but essential services.
In Portland we have world famous and locally beloved treasure of the Portland Japanese Garden, but it too has been closed due to the pandemic. But now you can explore much of the garden in 360 views and enjoy exploring some beautiful architecture and beautiful gardens.
The latest 2 building additions in the past two years at the Portland Japanese were designed by the famous Japanese architect Kengo Kuma. The new buildings are amazing, especially if you appreciate fine details of wood and converging lines.
Check out the 360 tour covering some of the garden and architecture:
Our Autodesk Portland office even celebrates the Portland Japanese Garden with a conference room inspired by the garden and named after a local sake brewer.
