AU 2018 Day 3 November 14th, 2018
The day kicked off with classes, AU Theater presentations, and then two industry keynotes for AEC and Manufacturing.
Announcement: Autodesk and Unity Expand Collaboration to Design, Make and Virtually Experience Anything
Product Design & Manufacturing Keynote
Autodesk University 2018 Product Design & Manufacturing Keynote – Video
Announcement: Autodesk Ups the Ante on Advanced Manufacturing with Technology Updates, New Alliances
After the keynotes, the crowds made their way to the Expo Hall to see demos, partners, and more.
Lots of great classes throughout the day as well as the Hub where you could catch up on work, get answers, play cornhole, pet a dog, or listen to live music. Out in the hall HP had their VR pods with community created VR content for a future Mars colony. It was awesome.
The Answer Bar was the place to bring all your burning questions about Autodesk products and get answers.
The DPE Experience Design Team and members of various product teams were in full force looking for your Ideas and Feedback in the Idea Exchange.
There was an awesome design competition where participants raced the clock to win the Design Slam
At night, the big AU Party was held and I went to my favorite AU party location at this venue, Brooklyn Bowl where there was an 80s fun band and a huge crowd.
Videos of the band Spazmatics at the Brooklyn Bowling and a glitter cannon! It was such a fun time and I hope we have this venue and band again next year.
Here is the official Day Highlight Reel (although it is titled Day 3 as Day 2.)
The final AU days images including my glowing recommendation for the Star Wars VR experience coming tomorrow.
