This morning at Autodesk University there were several hundred Autodesk University attendees which included Autodesk employees, customers, partners, and even our fleet footed Autodesk CEO Andrew Anagnost.
After pre-running the route Monday morning this morning still offered some surprises such as overnight construction forced us to run through a portion of the Flamingo Casino and people having to hold the doors for other runners. With the detour and all the stairs to cross the Blvd, this should be called AU5K Obstacle Course.
What fun it was with a good nice mix of people and capabilities with a seriously fast group that volunteered to lead the large group. I was seeing 6 minute miles from the top. I on the other hand, am still dealing with a tear in my meniscus ran with the fast group, then the medium group, and then the slower group to be able to see everyone.

Thank you to everyone that participated or made this possible. I will be posting photos from the event soon but if you want real-time photos checkout my Instagram or Twitter user @ShaanHurley
I can’t wait until next year!
