You may have heard about one of the top event tickets in San Francisco being Autodesk’s Design Night, but we are now branching out to several more cities including Portland later this month. If you want to learn about the latest in Virtual Reality VR and also get some food and drinks then please join Autodesk and me at out Design Night Portland event. Autodesk Design Night Portland
Thursday April 27, 2017, 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM PDT
Seeing beyond reality
Technologies allowing us to interact with virtual objects have been around since the '70s, but in the last few years the technology has become more sophisticated and pervasive. Augmented reality and virtual reality—a wholly virtual world—are being used in almost any industry you can imagine, transforming the way we experience architecture, archaeology, history, education, medicine, visual arts, and more. Come unleash your imagination at Autodesk Design Night Portland and see how these technologies are fusing the digital world into our analog one.
- Hear from David Weinstein, Director Enterprise VR | NVIDIA
- Bling out your own VR Cardboard Goggles
- Groove to DJ Shines
- Eat! Drink! Make! Learn!
In the spirit of historic tech facts and that Autodesk is turning 35 this year, did you know we were also a pioneer in early virtual reality? I remember the hardware and guess that dates me. We will have the very latest in VR at Design Night Portland and wont make you wear the helmet of doom and the weird gloves from 20+ years ago.

I hope to see you at the Design Night Portland!
