Autodesk University 2013 was great with the magical performances of Penn & Teller, the dancing robot from Bot & Dolly that blew minds, the main stage keynotes including out of this world start up Moon Express, inspiring Innovation Forums, awesome top notch classes, great exhibits in the exhibition hall, and a couple awesome parties and social receptions, but how can Autodesk and you top that? Each year this monumental challenge is what a talented team mostly behind the scenes unsung heroes must accomplish and deliver for you and exceed your limitless expectations on a limited budget.
<tease> We have some very exciting surprises in the works, but I can't tell you just yet.. </tease>
Between the Lines is the blog that hinted at last years amazing things and where to sit ahead of time for the keynote for a possible robot show. Those that paid attention were indeed rewarded with something to remember set to music dialed up to 11 with a Bot & Dolly IRIS robotic accompaniment and choreographed lights that made online news like FastCompany (This Gravity-Defying Robot Disco Ball Will Make Your Mind Boogie) and blew up the Interwebs and social media. I still say that dancing robot stunt during the keynote was the real reason that Google acquired Bot & Dolly that very week. Who with billions of dollars would not want this ultimate disco ball?
