I just published the survey page (http://svy.mk/nIpQLI) to gather information on those wanting to be considered for a limited number of invitations to the Autodesk University 2011 Blogger and Media Reception. If you blog or Tweet in social media about Autodesk or Autodesk products and plan to attend AU 2011 then this is the event.
This event organized by a small team including me will be held the evening of November 28th by invitation only since we have limited accommodations. Last year it was standing room only with almost every single Autodesk executive and product manager in attendance. It is not a event for marketing or sales but rather focusing on you and social networking in real life (IRL). Mingle and meet your press, social media, and those rascally blogger peers in a casual setting. Meet that one Autodesk product manager or executive before AU 2011 starts. You can plan out your week having met many like minded people and instead of strangers have new friends.
If you will be attending Autodesk University 2011 AND can commit to going to the reception November 28th between 6-8 pm then complete this survey to get the ball rolling. Due to the limited space we are unable to accommodate guests of those that receive an invitation. We really wish we could invite everyone but that is just not possible and would most likely need to be held in the Venetian’s arena to hold everyone. Notification of invitations will be in October and based on your survey responses and availability of space.
