This week I have been in London for a few events with Apple and with Autodesk customers. I will be in London next week for some business events and meetings. To make more use of my time and energy while in London, and to keep me out of trouble we thought it would be ideal to hold two relaxed social media events. A Tweetup for Twitter users and a blogger meetup where you can see the upcoming AutoCAD for Mac and AutoCAD WS as well as meet new people, and have some fun.
Autodesk University is only 82 days away and early registration has opened up. Early issues with #AU2010 registration are now resolved and advance registration now officially open: http://www.autodesk.com/auregsm My AutoCAD for Mac sessions at Autodesk University 2010 including Apple hardware Labs. I will be joined by two lab assistants Shobhit Baadkar and Rick Graham and perhaps a few others from the AutoCAD for Mac Team. More labs may be added due to demand.

They are similar when you consider the AutoCAD commands entered in the command line are the same. No real training is required to if you know AutoCAD, it is just a choice of platforms.
Last night in the Autodesk Gallery at One Market there was a gathering of press, Autodesk customers, Autodesk employees, and Apple employees to celebrate the new products that were announced.
