For the past couple days I have been in Atlanta attending IWF 08 and presenting a compressed session on AutoCAD 2009 in the Microvellum booth. Microvellum is a Autodesk ISV reseller as well as AutoCAD OEM developer which develops top notch cabinet, furniture and retail fixtures design products and just announced their new versions based on AutoCAD 2009. I just read a pretty interesting press announcement for Autodesk users. You can purchase the Geospatial data from NAVTEQ for use in Autodesk products. NAVTEQ is very accurate and used in many of the auto and mobile GPS navigation solutions out there. A recent question came into the Autodesk Product Feedback web form received from a Dallas based AutoCAD 2009 customer asking how they could get their traditional/classic menus in AutoCAD 2009 to look like a previous release.
