Attend Autodesk University 2007 for Free*
04 October 2007
The AutoCAD Product Management, Product Marketing, and MyFeedback Teams have once again stood up and funded a few people each year to attend Autodesk University "AU" including travel, AU pass, and lodging as a small token of our appreciation for customers being involved in shaping AutoCAD's future. *The only catch is those eligible must have been active Autodesk MyFeedback members in the ACAD Futures project and submit an email entry for the scholarship.
We have offered this for approximately 5 years now bringing customers from all parts of the world to Autodesk University. Last year Robin Capper won with a very creative entry as did Steve Johnson and Nick Van Laar. I only wish we could bring everyone who wanted to attend and were active in Autodesk MyFeedback projects but there is only so much money and AU 2007 is expected to crest 10,000 people this year breaking another attendance record. If you have not been active or participated in MyFeedback this is a good time to start as the major product beta season is starting and there is always research and usability projects. we also plan to hopefully launch or show the new Autodesk MyFeedback 2.0 at AU (working around the clock towards that big milestone).
We do not have the ability/power to get someone into the Venetian however as that hotel is booked solid. If attending AU this year please make sure to keep Monday evening open as we will have a MyFeedback member reception that night for people to place a face with a name as well as have a booth of our own this year #900 so stop on by and say "howdy". If you need an introduction to someone or a product team let us know then and we can point you in the right direction to make AU even more of a valuable experience. I will for the 6th year be blogging live from the event and playing paparazzi with my cameras.
