I have read and heard from a few concerned that their bread and butter 2D work or features were removed or placed out of reach in the future AutoCAD 2007, well 2D is still there and some new features. The mars car model in the splash image that comes up when you start the product was completely modeled by beta customer Carl Frischmuth in AutoCAD 2007 aka codenamed "Postrio".
