After several years at Adobe Systems as the Technology Strategist and Worldwide Evangelist for Adobe’s enterprise business unit, the organization responsible for PDF, Acrobat, and Adobe’s LiveCycle enterprise server solutions, Jonathan Knowles has accepted the position of Director of Worldwide Market Development for DWF at Autodesk.
Jonathan returns to Autodesk having been in product management and evangelism here 5 years ago.
I asked Jonathan what brought him back to Autodesk.
“Creating, launching, and communicating Adobe’s Intelligent Document Platform was great. PDF is the ideal solution for traditional publishing; newspapers, magazines, brochures, bank statements, credit card and phone bills, direct printed mail, etc.”
“I’ve missed working with the people that design, build, manage and work with the things Autodesk customers do; skyscrapers, homes, aircraft engines, terrain models, cinematic simulated environments. For these projects, only DWF will do.”
