Getting the feel for this Blog
21 August 2003
Blogs (Weblogs) are a fun and informative technology. I hope to make this Blog one of interest to many fellow AutoCAD users. I plan on posting tips & tricks, announcements, and future product design feedback.
I will be joined from time to time by two of the best in AutoCAD and they are Lynn Allen and Heidi Hewett as well as others in my AutoCAD team.
About Me:
I am a Technical Marketing Manager for the AutoCAD group and also manage most of the beta programs for Autodesk at http://betaprograms.autodesk.com. I am a current user of AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor and 3D Studio Max. I used some of these products as a former customer. I was previously a mechanical designer involved in various large projects before joining Autodesk in January of 1998. Some of the projects in my past are AISC major steel bridges, hydroelectric, large heat exchangers and ASME pressure vessels. I was a featured "bleeding edge" user during the R14 Design Your World Live broadcast in May 1997, and the R14 demo CD-ROM. You may also see me at all hours in the Autodesk discussion groups http://discussion.autodesk.com assisting fellow users with technical issues as well as participating in some of the humorous threads.
Sincerely,
Shaan Hurley
