Autodesk has just released 123 Sculpt. 123 Sculpt is an iPad app that allows you to freely modify 3D objects using digital sculpting with brushes similar to what Autodesk’s Mudbox does on the grander professional scale. This new tool is continuing on the theme of supporting the Makers of the world with free tools like 123D, Pixlr, Sketchbook, and supporting Maker communities like the recently acquired Instructables and partnering with TechShop. Providing these tools and supporting communities of Makers places the creative power tools into anyone's hands and allows them to unleash their inner creative genius.
You can start using some objects such as humanoid, a car, moose or just primitive objects such as a sphere then being deforming and pinching to sculpt your own creation just as you would with clay except in this case you don’t get covered in clay. I know what Kung Fu Drafter is thinking “can I re-enact the clay scene in the movie Ghost” I guess you could you digital freak <g>.
