This is fairly common knowledge among my co-workers. What we really need is a way to change the background AROUND the drawing. It's lighter with the new version (2011) and some of us have found that it contributes to eye strain.

Bill, I posted a followup on how to change the entire Layout background color.

Thanks. It helps a lot to me..

Thanks, that helped a lot.

I want to change the screen background color on AutoCad LT 2011. The LT toolbar does not have the "options" selection. Does anyone know how to change screen background color on LT.

Neil, Just type in Options at the commandline.

can we change the background layout with image ?

Image backgrounds are not supported unless it is in the drawing itself.

Shaan
