any word on when the updates will be avalible for the verticals? (2010 inventor suite specifically)

Jason,

Some of the AutoCAD based vertical products such as AutoCAD Mechanical, AutoCAD Architecture, and AutoCAD MEP are undergoing customer beta testing now at http://beta.autodesk.com. While I cannot provide any dates I would expect the updates to be released publicly in the next month.

What possiable reason would every user need to know when subscription was running out? Aside from the fact that lots of the people in charge of subscription don't even use the software.

Are there any known problems with integration SP1 to AutoCAD ( LT ) 2010 install image ? I have tried that and all options are grayed out. I get only message, that my product is up to date.

David,

I am not aware of any deployment image issues but believe you must use the MSP. http://images.autodesk.com/adsk/files/autocad_2010_and_autocad_lt_2010_update_1.html#NetworkAdminImage Also you must have a open port for AutoCAD LT to check to see if there are new updates. Perhaps a group policy could be involved.

I hope this gets you on track to getting up to date.

Best Regards,
Shaan

Hi Shaan,

Wondering if the SP1 applies to users who have versions of CAD that are newer than the D.55.0.0 or D59.0.0

I have D215.0.0 and I have NO idea if this Service Pack would be useful or harmful to my installation of AutoCAD
