Question - The Reference Manager can run outside of AutoCAD and without AutoCAD running - but can i do it inside Autocad - like the old versions ? And How ? Maybe "classicimage" or "classicxref" command - but is there any other way to manage references without running separately Reference Manager ?

Mario,

You can use the XPATH Express Tool inside AutoCAD. Refman does not run inside of AutoCAD but XPATH does. Although not entirely the same there are some helpful common abilities.

Cheers,
Shaan

Hi Shaan,

What tool would you suggest to be best for batch-converting layer names in a drawing (assuming I am working with a standardized list of layer names)?

Best,

SG

SG,

Have you considered the Layer Translator?
