During life people come and people go. People make decisions and changes in their life and careers all the time and a good friend and coworker of mine has just made several.
Tim (leave no stone unturned) McMahon has been with Autodesk since dinosaurs ruled the source code vaults (just kidding) but he is one of the earliest Autodesk employees remaining. Tim has been with the AutoCAD Team involved in QA testing since the early days of John Walker running the company. Tim has always been a good example and asset of the company and extremely humble. He is also a fun person to mess around with but beware he will give payback at some point in the future as he always told me “Hurley, I am keeping a big folder on you”. Tim was also one of the largest Hawaiian print shirt consumers on the mainland and brought a special Tom Selleck look to the office environment. Tim is now embarking on a change in his life in what I called Tim 2.0 or Tim 1.0 C4a.
Tim has also been a private pilot and in the 10 years I have worked with him never been in the air with him but perhaps someday if he vectors over my direction I will get the chance.
Timmy (I meant Tim) said he wants to take time and relax with the family and ponder what he can do in the next phase of his life. Tim will be missed by us deskers but we all wish him the best in whatever he decides to do in Tim 2.0 or Tim 1.0 C4a.
Happy Trails Tim!
Best Regards,
Shaan
