My year and a half old 95 pound purebred yellow Labrador named Wyatt. He started having problems with his hips a few weeks ago then this weekend his spine compacted due to some possible hereditary problem we were unaware of. He was suffering in the veterinary hospital and the prognosis was bleak even after 2 surgeries costing a possible $5000.00 and would still be painful and no reasonably certain outcome due to the main problem being somewhere in his spine and shoulder joints spine, I had to make one of the most difficult decisions for my best friend, and so I decided to put him to sleep peacefully. I am really going to miss Wyatt.
Some photos of my friend.
Below is Wyatt in the hospital.
All I have left are great memories and remnants in the snow he ran through until it melts. He loved snow and we called him snow dog for this reason. Seeing his prints in the snow today was pretty difficult.
