Last night was the Disney/MGM Studios party for Autodesk University 2005 attendees and what a night it was. I posted many photos from the evening in the AU 2005 image gallery. The park was open privately until 11PM with food and drinks and several of the rides open such as Tower of Terror and the Rock n Roll Roller Coaster which starts at 0-60mph in 2.5 seconds and has the large cool guitar which was designed in AutoCAD by David Harrington.
If you have some photos you would like me to place in the AU 2005 image gallery to share with the thousands of daily BTW readers, email me at shaan.hurley@autodesk.com. I will be updating the current photos and their descriptions over the next few days. The blog is experiencing a surge of thousands of unique visitors for the AU 2005 images sometimes thousands in only an hour.
Today is the final day of Autodesk University 2005. I am doing some work from my room while others are attending classes. Later in the afternoon I am traveling to Southern Florida in the Naples area then over to Miami Saturday.
I want to thank everyone who attended this years AU and hope to see you all at AU 2006 in the Venetian hotel in Las Vegas next year.Holding AU 2006 at the Venetian is fitting since it was designed using Autodesk's AutoCAD. I think all in all AU 2005 was a success although like any large event their were some things that could be improved and will be taken into consideration next year as AU just gets better every year. I made many new friends and met with many existing ones over the course of this week.
Please have a safe trip home from AU 2005.
See you at AU 2006
-Shaan
