Stability, Feedback and Listening is what it is all about
Just a few things about the AutoCAD 2006 beta program and helping to shape the future of AutoCAD.
The beta program is where customers sign up at http://myfeedback.autodesk.com to test unreleased software. The beta projects typically have over 1000 customer sites involved in the testing from around the world. In fact in the AutoCAD 2006 beta program there were customers from 64 separate countries not including the press, resellers, or ADN members. The main goals are to listen to what the customers would like and how we are doing as we keep adding the new features and changes based on their feedback. The other important goal is to make sure defects are reported and addressed. In fact during the AutoCAD 2006 beta program the product was so stable we had to implement a temporary command "CRASHACAD" so we could test the Customer Error Reporting mechanism in AutoCAD. With the beta program for AutoCAD 2006 wrapping up, we are now starting to hold AutoCAD futures projects.
Get Involved, Be Heard, and help shape the future of Autodesk products.
Cheers,
Shaan
